Hey there 👋,
Let me start with a small story.
In 2024, I was about to become a father.
The first thought that came to mind?
What can I do to create the freedom to decide when to work and when to spend time with my family?
That question sparked something inside me.
I dove deep into books, podcasts, and everything I could find about escaping the 9-to-5 and building a software startup. Then, another idea hit me:
What if I share everything I’m learning and create a community of aspiring entrepreneurs?
And so, on August 4th, 2024, LDH Weekly was born. Since then:
- 23 newsletters have been sent.
- 60 amazing subscribers have joined this journey.
- We’ve explored topics from:
- Lessons I’ve learned from books.
- Insights gained from podcasts.
- Strategies I’m applying myself.
- Wisdom shared by entrepreneurs I admire.
Some of my favorite editions (if you want to revisit them):
- Mastering the Law of 100 and Setting Rejection Goals for Success
- The Chinese Farmer: A Lesson in Perspective
- Discover Your Ikigai: The Key to a Meaningful Life
From the beginning, my focus has been on consistency and it’s worked.
Writing these emails has become a highlight of my week, and I can’t thank you enough for being here.
A New Focus for 2025
This year, things are shifting. My focus is now on growth.
My goal for 2025? To pass the 1,000 subscribers mark. It’s ambitious, but I’m confident we’ll get there.
To make it happen, I’ll need to refine my content and double down on topics that resonate most.
As many of you know, I became a father in August, and while parenthood has its challenges, I’m loving every second of it.
So, moving forward, LDH Weekly will take on a new perspective:
Entrepreneurship through the lens of a parent.
What’s Changing?
Not much, honestly. We’ll still cover:
→ Starting a business.
→ Escaping the 9-to-5.
→ Productivity tips.
→ Entrepreneurs of the month.
But alongside those topics, I’ll also document my journey as a dad trying to make it in entrepreneurship.
I’ll share my wins, my failures, and how I’m navigating this balancing act.
What do you think of this small change?
Your feedback means the world to me, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on this new direction.
Cheers to a new chapter, 🍻
